| About Frank Frank Peto was born and raised in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. His artistic strengths were noticed at a very young age. Frank moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1988 until 1996 where he currently now resides in Columbus, Ohio as a self taught artist. Frank's earlier works primarily focus on the male physique. Earlier works were also done in acrylic and have added to the pop culture look. Throughout the years his style moved from using acrylic to using oil which evolved into more representational work. The use of Oil with recent portrait works have successfully resulted in gained popularity in both the US and Europe. Frank enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and to warm climates where a more liberal, carefree spirit is present. It is there where most of his inspirations come from- both Art and photography. Although Frank enjoys creating representations of the male physique and capturing unique images with his photography, Frank has also gained much recognition as a self taught portrait artist. Frank has shown his work locally at Gary's Gallery in Columbus, OH and in Cleveland, OH.
